Good morning from a snow covered part of Scotland, it's a beautiful day the sun is shining even though it is snowing and bitterly cold. I apologise for not commenting over the past few days but have been under the weather, and have not been spending any time on the computer .
So far I have managed to use up lots of papers and pre printed papers from CD's not that it's making much impact on the amount left to be used.

My image and main backing paper is from a Walk in the Country paper kit
The striped paper and paper for the flowers is from A Walk in the Country CD Rom
The flowers are a new die I purchased String Flowers be Sue Wilson

Christmas Challenges

A Christmas card not posted at the end of last year I made a batch of House Mouse cards for the children on the school bus my husband drives. You have to keep everyone the same but I love the CD, there are so many great designs to choose from.

Thank you for all the lovely comments on my previous cards.

A simple card today, but I couldn't decide whether to add the bouquet of roses or not,  I prefer CAS but thought the card looked a bit naked, not sure though.

Many thanks to those who continue to visit and leave such wonderful, much appreciated comments
The weather has been really frosty, but at least the sun is shining.

Thank You, For You

Two cards made from a scrap of paper, I am determined to use up some of the papers I printed over the past few years instead of continuing to add to the box of bits and pieces.

The first card uses the Memory Box die I won at Pixie's Crafty Playground, thank you Di and the second a rubber stamp and die set I bought from another crafter sorry there was no makers name on the packaging.

House Mouse Love

I  won this stamp last year in a House Mouse Blog Hop, thank you Christine, this is the first time I have used it, it's a real cutie. Lots of layers and some paper piecing too.

We weren't flooded this week but the burn beside us rose to within about a foot of my husbands workshop, and our son was stranded in Aberdeen overnight, the trains north were cancelled and the A96 was flooded in several places which meant that we were unable to drive the 50 odd miles to collect him, there were services cancelled yesterday as well because train crews were stranded away from base. Hopefully things will be back to normal next week.

Happy Birthday

i hope everyone has recovered from the hustle of the festive period and is feeling relaxed now. We have continued to be very lucky and have escaped the worst of the bad weather, some high winds and heavy rain showers but no flooding or damage.

A spring/summer card to cheer me up today, it's a long time since I used so many die cuts in one card.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my followers and visitors. I wish you all the best for 2016. We had a very quiet entry to 2016 and this corner of Scotland seems to have missed all the bad weather apart from some strong winds.
